quarantined in a hotel with my str8 best friend

What a lovely chapter! I think it's super cute the way Garrett is trying to help him within the situation. The Garrett thing is already a personal weakness of mine hahahahaha

Broken to think that there are only two episodes left of our boys, but once again, you can't imagine how much we've enjoyed reading you!

Sooo true! The Garrett thing is a very personal thing for me too as I've been in somewhat similar emotional situations with very close dear friends a few times, and it is a very hard and dangerous thing to navigate. So simple but at the same time so hard due to labels, social constructs, and internalized biphobia / homopobia.

This story somewhat reminds me a bit of the Brokeback Mountain movie, but I feel that this one is much depper, real, and relatable to a broader audience; especially in today's world, where the fact of sexuality and attraction being something less rigid and with lots of greys is broadly accepted.

I feel that today's society, more than ever before, allows many more people to be open and honest with these feelings, and I feel that a Netflix limited-series 6-10 episodes would be a hit. The story's emotional buildup is much more close to real life for me, and certainly for a lot more people too than the storyline of Brokeback Mountain. I wish I had industry contacts that I could pitch this story to, but sadly I dont.

The maturity you’ve written into these characters over just a few chapters is amazing. Watching them be contained to a room has forced them to adapt. This chapter really undergirded that best friend’s foundation. Like others, a happy ending would be so great for this story, but life happens. Kinda bracing myself.

Indeed! This story feels much more honest and real than most other stories that have become movies. I feel that in the right format and with the right production team, this story would have more success than Bros and Brokeback Mountain.

You are too nice!! Any comparison to Brokeback Mountain is far too generous!

Thank you / I'm sorry!!!!
Nothing to be sorry about! I loved it! You’re a great writer, that can connect people’s emotions to the story and characters. That’s a gift! I’m so happy I stumbled across it, and I look forward to your future stories!
