Just wondering especially in heterosexual marriages, who does the most initiating for sex?

Is it the case we men always do it or are there women that want it as much as we do?

I have a higher libido than any of the 60+ people I've fucked. Male, female, and otherwise self-identifying. I generally initiate, but if I start getting turned down a lot? I respect that and start letting the other person initiate more.

Ditto for me. I used to do a lot of the initiating, but really had to take it down as to let my partner feel more in control. Of course that meant virtually no sex, but it was what it was.

it's even between me and the wife. before we got married, we both agreed that if the other wanted some booty then we would always give in unless it was physically impossible. neither of us have broken that promise to this day. if i had to guess at who initiated more, i would have to say it was her but not by much.

to the OP, there are lots of women out there who want sex ALL THE TIME...

I have always been the aggressor in m marriage. I use to get pissed, when she turned me down. Any time she wanted sex I was willing but if was me she didn't mind saying no at all. After years and years of this I stopped asking and we have sex when she wants it.
When she wants it she enjoys it to the max but if she's not in the mood it just isn't worth the effort. I'd rather just take care of myself

My wife wants sex every night. But I have to initiate every time. If I don't initiate, then she thinks something is wrong. I tell her that if she wants it, she can start if sometimes, but then she says "I am not that kind of person". This is "recent" meaning the past five years or so. Before that, it was equal.
