Jack Doherty

Having blocked traffic by performing a stunt outside a smoke shop, he was subsequently arrested by Miami Beach Police, for possession of a controlled substance (felony), and resisting arrest without violence (misdemeanor). He is currently held on a $3,500 bond.
I've never been arrested but considering the nature of his charges, does a $3500 bond seem a bit low? I dunno. Just for shits & giggles, I checked my DMs & there was a message from "Jack" post-arrest. My response: aren't you in jail?........crickets...lol.

I honestly feel like bond/bail amounts should be linked to a persons income! The consequences of breaking the law should be equally painful for the rich and poor relative to income

And what if there is no income? Do you allude to the dangerous concept of cashless bail?

No. I'm not getting into politics
or pro cashless bail. Just that the punishment should be relative to an individuals ability to pay it. If a person has millions of dollars and is constantly breaking the law a few grand is hardly punishment the same way it is for a working or middle class person and the rich person won't take the punishment seriously if it doesn't hurt them economically.

Acknowledged.

Most likely it was all fake. What police officer arresting you is going to keep calling you "bro?"
It was real, if you look it up major news outlets are covering it. He also got caught with what is believed to be Schedule II Ampthetamines (adderall?), not just weed. It's Miami PD, I could see cops from Florida saying "bro". 😂

P.S. I love "jecking" to the fact that Jack got arrested for real. 😂😂😂 It makes me nut. 😂😂😂
