the whole platform runs on enticement anyway and onlyfans can argue they aren't the ones doing the scamming and rather just provide an open platform (similar to how most social media companies aren't necessarily held accountable for bad content posted on their platforms -- facebook marketplace, craiglist, whatever).
i think it's possible that onlyfans could be pushed into incorporating user ratings (similar to amazon, uber, ebay, airbnb or whatever), but obviously since at the moment they ultimately benefit from whatever people spend they're not motivated to (and that system can also be abused).
the truth is if you're going to buy this type of content on the internet you ultimately buy at your own risk, and if you're buying from a scammy little youtube bitch then there you are. his whole career is about clickbait. platforms that potentially empower creators end up empowering both the good faith ones and the annoying hustler ones.
