You did kinda suggest that he’s “straight”. His lifestyle, his identities, the dimensions of his sexuality, where he is in the gender, sexual, romantic, emotional investment, commitment spectrum- none of that is the point. The focus should be entirely on him being able to wear what he wants, not trying to defend assumed “straightness”.

Unfortunately, many still live by the “everyone is ‘straight’ until they proclaim otherwise” rule. It’s very “don’t ask, don’t tell”. It’s incredibly old-fashioned. At least 30% of folks are probably in the “queer” spectrum. While sexuality, identities, gender dimensions, love, relationships, the orientation spectrum, different struggles or journeys are all individual and varied as hell. It’s best not to assume anyone’s supposed “straightness”. The more we continue to use the assumption of hetero-normalcy as a base for everything the more difficult it is for people to be legit honest and to be themselves, and the more we indirectly promote identity pressures and hetero pressures and expectations. Just say he can wear what he wants and call it a day.
My entire point was that people assume he was gay for wearing women clothes I was trying to point out the obvious assumption in his Instagram comments. I admit I did assumed he was straight which we don’t know if he is or not but he dated girls in the past and never came out so that’s my assumption and that even if he is straight we still don’t know that doesn’t mean that he’s gay because he likes woman clothes. It’s the dead end stereotype I was just trying to point out.
