Jack laugher

Isn’t the underwear market kind of oversaturated as it is? Do we really need all these brands to begin with? Most people aren’t seeing someone else’s underwear anyway.
Tbh when Jack first announced he was making underwear i thought good for him he's got a plan in action while his still popular to make some money for his retirement he's been using underwear in his content for quite some time he'll have some good ideas only to come out with two quite frankly extremely dull designs in material that creases so easily that they will need ironing after every wash ,okay i get they are aimed at the more athletic person but not even offer a jock version is bizarre all he has to do is look at the stats from his videos see what style of underwear was most popular and he could have been onto something because frankly as you said in an already oversaturated market i can't see people rushing to buy bundawear

He has said more daring designs may come

I would guess there’s a difference between the most popular underwear for Jack to wear (jocks) and what is the most popular for men to buy. Makes sense that he launches with what will sell first, it is a business after all.

A quick bit of research shows that well over 75% of the men’s underwear market is boxers, boxer trunks and briefs. This fits with his range at launch. I assume that Jack has done a lot more research than I have done too 😃.

He has a unique selling point for OF: himself. That's not the case for his underwear brand.
Every celebrity that launches a product has "themselves" as the selling point. Rihanna is not a skincare chemist, yet she made a fortune launching a cosmetics and skincare line. Obviously Jack is not as big as a celebrity but I suppose he's well known enough to sell some underwear that he himself can model. I am sure he is not expecting to become the next Calvin Klein.

I personally think a jockstrap is a great idea, but perhaps they didn’t want to turn off the straights and pigeonhole this as a gay brand (even though we all know nobody else is interested, either way).

if I can offer Jack some suggestion

1. mesh underwear. they are great for ventilation to avoid moisture
2. crotchless underwear. great for ventilation
3. backless underwear. great for ventilation of course.
4. stringless g-string with a mesh pouch, of course for ventilation.

after all, you want to avoid moisture in the crotch area and avoid jock itch.
