Jackson’s ’artistic’ nudes are already in the public domain. Jackson, if you are reading this, you have to try harder my friend. You are writing misleading descriptions on your OF and charging extortionate prices for vanilla content. If you want to charge big prices, you have to back it up with content that is worth the price paid. Otherwise, you p.ss off people who want to support you and won’t come back to your OF.
AFAIK unless he's surrendered the copyright on his pictures or it expired (he hasn't been dead for over 70 years) then they're not in the public domain. Just because something exists on the internet it doesn't mean it's not copyrighted and you can do what you want with it.

I'm quite sure the OP meant the term "public domain" as the colloquial equivalent of "out there for the public to freely view" -- I have made the same mistake in the past of failing to treat "public domain" as a term of art.
In any case, I think the OPs point is clear and valid -- it's pretty sketch for Jackson to deceptively describe content that he is selling for a pretty penny as being more explicit than it is, and when it turns out to be something that's been previously posted publicly, it just adds insult to injury

Well, it's the same problem as everyone : porn studios, musicians, movie directors... They all see their content available online for free.
