Shame he refuses to show off that body on Euphoria anymore. The girl playing Cassie shouldn't have to carry all these sex scenes. It's HBO, drop trou and stop acting special!

did he ever say that?

Sam Levinson is a perv, who likes to have his female characters live out his sexual fantasies, especially Sydney.

I don't like Jacob is against nudity or anything, it's just his character wasnt given any scenes

He would never say anything to the media or public because he's one of Sam's favorites on set. The on set tea was that Jacob threw his weight around to ensure Jacob had minimal nude scenes since he wants to be taken seriously. Sam playing favorites caused loads of issues, rewrites, and delays.

Sam isn't a pervert at all, he just knows what sells and created a smash hit. The actresses and actors all knew what they were signing up for and Euphoria. It has helped everyone's career.

This isn't porn, but it is HBO. How people don't know HBO has always been the channel for good old fashion sex scenes and selective nudity, along with high quality shows, is beyond me.

Also, the other tea was that Nate and Jules were supposed to have the secrete relationship, not Nate and Cassie, but Jacob's people killed that. Now that he has a few projects in the works, he seems more open to more LGBT content with his new movie coming out playing someone gay.

That's what a heard, don't shoot the messenger.

that wasn't the tea at all. The Jules/Nate story was written out and replaced by Nate/Cassie because Jacob was in bad terms with Zendaya and her friends, including the actress who plays Jules, not because of some secret hang up about filming with a trans woman (especially not Jacob who seems to mostly hang out with gay men lol). They didn't speak and allegedly refused to shoot with each other. I don't know why Jacob's "people" would be ok with him kissing her in season 1 and not in season 2. The concept of "playing a queer character" being a career killer is so outdated at this point. Chalamet, Josh O'Connor, Armie Hammer, Max Riemelt, Kit Connor, off the top of my head, all got either their start or a big boost to their career, in gay roles. When one of the Jonas brothers wanted to be taken seriously, he went ahead and got cast in a gay role. Daniel Radcliffe did the same.

And Sam L is not only an absolute pervert who gets a kick out of putting young vulnerable female characters in absolutely gross situations, he's a bad showrunner who has now been at the helm of 2 gigantic disasters (Euphoria season 2 and his upcoming show starring Depp's daughter).

Jacob did say something to the media, GQ I think, about not really liking having nude scenes, but then again, most actors don't.

I'll agree with you on one thing, Sam is a terrible show runner. He shouldn't let off set drama dictate the show. If the actress playing Jules can't keep it professional enough to work with Jacob and vice versus, then however had the issue needs to seek a new career.

So I am not sure what is true here and what isn't and it doesn't super matter but I do want to bring attention to one thing that I think you got wrong:

I don't know why Jacob's "people" would be ok with him kissing her in season 1 and not in season 2. The concept of "playing a queer character" being a career killer is so outdated at this point. Chalamet, Josh O'Connor, Armie Hammer, Max Riemelt, Kit Connor, off the top of my head, all got either their start or a big boost to their career, in gay roles. When one of the Jonas brothers wanted to be taken seriously, he went ahead and got cast in a gay role. Daniel Radcliffe did the same.

So it would absolutely be true that after season one made him a star, he would have had more people, and different people, around him giving him advice when he was filming season two, plus he would hav had a lot more weight to throw around. That kind of change of heart - and career plan - is definately possible. It's also worth noting that even if you're right that playing gay doesn't effect your career anymore - I dont agree that's true but let's say for argument sake that it is - many old-school agents and managers still think that it's true.

It's worth nothing that your list is kind weird:
~ At least one guy that no one has ever heard of outside of big fans of gay dramas (Josh O'Connor)
~ One guy who is most famous for playing the straightest male character in a gay-interest TV drama and who is otherwise largely unknown (Max Riemelt. Has he even played gay? He wasn't gay in Sense8. Has he done another gay project? If so, has that project really been a big career boost?)
~ One guy whose whole career so far has been playing one bisexual character, and whose is so close to his start that we can't have any idea of the effect playing bi has had. He could be the next big thing ot he could meet the fate of most other male leads of charming, popular children's dramas: Obscurity by 25. (Connor)
~ One guy whose career is ruined and works as a resort booker now (Hammer, although obviously playing gay [bi?] isn't why that's true)
~ One guy who definitely refused to film gay sex scenes on set and anyway seems to have largely retired from acting to re-focus on singing (Nick Jonas, who despite playing a gay character in Kingdom, filmed multiple straight sex scenes for that show but didn't even do any gay kissing. He also quit the show, which is why his character was brutally murdered in the second-to-last episode. The show did end up being cancelled but the intent when writing/producing those last episodes was to continue on without him.)
.
So you got Chalamet and Radcliffe who did gay-themed indie dramas with big diretors and honestly did get a boost from it. Maybe we count Hammer here as well because he did get a boost from Call Me By Your Name before subsequently destroying his career on his own.

So I don't have any claims to understand specifically what was/is happening behind the scenes with Euphoria but I think your analysis on gays roles and careers doesn't make any sense.

Ah yes, Emmy winner Josh O’Connor who won his Emmy for a widely acclaimed performance in one of the most popular TV shows of the last decade in which he played a man so aggressively straight it’s painful is only known by big fans of gay dramas. Makes sense.

Yeah, you have got me there. The subject matter of The Crown is so vile to me that I literally know nothing about it. As s result, I had no idea that O’Connor was on it. I did check his imdb but somehow my eyes slid right past The Crown. Dunno how that happened. My bad. Honestly, my bad on him specificallty.

U missing out. English history, Helena Bonham Carter serving, the Charles and Diana romance revived, Matt Smith's ass.

It happens! Good on you for admitting the fault though, that is a rare thing around here. Respect.
