Queerbating is a film term but there’s clearly a different colloquial meaning and idk why y’all try to act like y’all don’t know that. To conflate gay kids having crushes on girls to the inverse as a way to say that ppl don’t always have crushes that will align with their sexuality is silly bc we’re socialized to see being straight as ideal. There’s ppl that are just not open with their queerness. There’s also ppl that play into sexual ambiguity knowing they aren’t queer. Furthermore, the fluidness and personal aspects of queerness can play into the ambiguity.

the strike only affects major studios/streamers in America. Countries outside America and independent productions/smaller studios can film or promote their movies
