How else is he meant to advertise and promote his "product" towards the gay community?

Place an advertisement in his local newspaper for father/son erotic imagery? Buy a billboard in San Francisco? Hand out flyers advertising his OF page at a Kylie Minogue concert? He's promoting himself to his target audience directly (for free) and it's the smartest route to take.
