Also like any time someone asks him why he just posts buff white dudes and not any non-white dudes or dudes with different body types, he’s basically like this is my idea of beauty, etc, etc. Like doesn’t seem to acknowledge that he’s problematic by presenting only buff white dudes as hot? It’s like any guy on Grindr being like no fats, no fems, no Asians, but justifying it as “just not my type sorry, doesn’t mean I’m racist”. Gross and still discriminatory no matter how you spin it.
Its mostly catching my attention because the posts are of my friends... They are in highschool still and also they aren't that like known maybe 1k followers and I think he found them through tiktok lol also he's been commenting on some of their tiktoks like its weird idk. He's like 20 something working with models why does he need to message and follow teens.
Problematic is what I would call your illiberal way of thinking. “No fats, no fems, no Asians”?? The modeling business is usually discriminatory against the unattractive and the obese. Just like this website focuses on the men with hot bodies, handsome faces and ideally big penises. The photographers can shoot who they want to shoot, they don not force you to consume their photos. First you demand people of color, then diverse body types, then what ...? “Why doesn’t he shoot females, why doesn’t he shoot female to males, why doesn’t he he shoot wounded people like Michael Stokes ...” or what? He does not reject you personally like on Grindr, who are you fighting for? Do you expect him to change his style of photography to suit your taste? Do you want us to boycott him because you thinks he is being “immoral”? Why do you post this on a site that focuses on appearances and sexual arousal from hot, fit men? This is just too ridiculous.
He has stated that he will shoot with anyone regardless of what they look like, but I’m referring to his socials and how he has stated that he only posts pictures of guys he thinks fit into this aesthetic of masculinity and attractiveness, and they’re pretty much all white and have a certain body shape. I just think being a little more diverse is never a bad thing, whether it’s Jake, this website or any other brand or agency out there. But then again, these forums, his socials, etc. are just a manifestation of this social conditioning we’ve been fed for years. It’s just perpetuating a message of white = beautiful and having a particular body size = hot
Because he is a photographer and to him this is his art. No offence but your opinion doesn’t matter because he is an artist and this is his creative outlet. Sometimes life is unfair, but not everything is racist.
You’ve got to be passionate about your job and who doesn’t like a white boy with ass. Lols.
I feel like anywhere you look you have some one crying about “preference gays”.

do you expect a gay guy to find a woman attractive? Is it discriminatory if he doesn’t? Why are some parts of sexual attraction supposedly out a persons control yet you also think everyone should find every other race attractive?
I think a lot of gay men are quite sexist in that they view feminine traits as lesser than masculine ones.
I’m not saying that everyone has to (or necessarily has the control to) be attracted to every single person from every single race. But in the case that a gay man explicitly (e.g. by saying “No Asians” or “No blacks” in their Grindr bio) or implicitly (e.g. swiping left on anyone who isn’t an attractive white cis man on Tinder) discriminates against people of colour, it is racist. I’m not saying this is a choice. A lot of it is social conditioning. You can’t live in a country like America or Australia that privileges white people so much and not have some kind of racial bias. You also can’t wake up and suddenly be colourblind and attracted to everyone like Shallow Hal.
But what gets me is that a lot of gay men (and people in general, whether they’re white or not) claim it not to be racist just because you can’t control it. It is racist whatever which way you look at it. Admitting it is the first step to overcoming it.
