James Deen fucks stand up/writer?

wow. thank you.

anyone else find this fascinating?

Yes I do. I've always liked James Deen because he seems more real, more approachable than other male porn stars. James is not afraid to talk about his personal life. And the reporter/comic is a real woman without fake tits. So this was a good version of reality porn. That's why I liked it.

cool. yeah. interesting. i am curious about 2 things.

1. Deen seems to have rare crossover potential. in some pictures, depending on the angle, etc. he seems to have mainstream good looks. The stereotype about porn is the male actors are usually odd, creepy, and unattractive looking. Deen has been able to make being porn perv, acceptable in that he seems to have a lot of female admirers. This is rare, right? i mean, it's rare for women to watch porn? and if they do, they certainly don't take notice of the men, right? he's been able to breakthrough in that regard.

2. Also, her motivation? on one level it's a shameless ploy to get attention and people to notice her. But how can something like this help her career as a "writer" or to be taken seriously in that way?

But i'm intrigued by it. In that, wouldn't it be wonderful if women were less ashamed about sex? I feel like women are very frigid and ashamed sexually. I mean, what if the CEO of hewlett packard did a sex tape? or if Marth Stewart had sex with James Deen for all to see?

I feel like the lines of porn and mainstream or becoming less and less indistinguishable. Right?

The thing is women enjoy sex more than guys. Their is a huge difference the way we both perceive it. One is emotional and one is more technical, I'll let you figure that one out :). There is a duality with the way women see sex in society. On the one hand they love it but if a women is promiscuous then she is perceived as a slut, which in turn makes her less attractive to other people and to guys especially. Do you want a girlfriend who has been with many many guys or one that has only had several partners? James Deen has a huge women following because the fact is he knows what women want. For them sex is an emotional story that unfolds, starting with the kiss, continuing with feelings and emotions. You can notice subtle differences that drive women crazy in his scenes. The way he caresses their bodies, the way he looks at them, and the way he makes them feel. I think he is one of the only porn actors out there that you can learn a lot about love making and pleasing a women. That is why women enjoy watching him preform.

i'm not sure how authentic her vocal reactions are. she seems to really play it up for the camera.

i guess i'm a bit of a behavioral economist in some ways, trying to figure out what her incentive is -- it just comes across like any other sex tape, a desperate need for attention. whatever happened to the 16 and pregnant girl that did a shoot with Deen? where she said it was a "leaked" tape, but it turned out to be just another manipulated ploy for publicity. Wasn't it also revealed that Kim Kardashian's mother Kris, orchestrated her sex tape? it's pretty disgusting.

I guess i just find it fascinating. As a single straight male, i am constantly inundated with women telling me how they don't want sex. They want a serious monogamous relationship with a guy who will take them shopping, hiking, to yoga class and farmers' markets. then this girl comes along and does this, which flies in the face of logic of what all women seem to want.

i guess it saddens me how sex is used to manipulate in our culture. women know that men want it and that they can pretty much get whatever they want from a man for it.

it just bums me out when sex is a tool used for manipulation, as it seems to be 99 times out of 100.

because women don't want sex, we have porn stars and a billion dollar porn business and sex business where men have to pay to get it.

It seems that she just did this to excite her career in a cheap publicity stunt and get people talking about her, I guess she succeeded. I'm curious to see how society rewards her? Will she become a tabloid celebrity like the Kardashians? Probably not. But I'm curious if it will harm her "career" or if she will be able to parlay it into something else?

The thing is that society loves secrets, juicy gossip, and anything deemed immoral by the standards. I think a part of our brain is wired to some evolutionary trigger to help us survive...which part and WHY I have no idea :)

It's up to the man here if he wants to give them whatever they want. The truth is when a women wants her man, she will do the most crazy shit for him. There are enough stories of a women doing things so crazy that anyone would be dumbfounded at the way she acts. All that for some douche bag who treats her like crap.

As I said, bullshit!!!! Women are just wired that way to perceive themselves as "good girls" but at the end of the day if done properly they enjoy sex way WAY more then men do. Just look at the number of nerve endings :)

Probably help her career. Any publicity is good publicity. Just think about the countless people out there who just heard of her right now because of this.

sigh. i said to myself i wouldn't get dragged into another argument with a simpleton on here, but sigh... i can't ignore your stupidity. you don't know what you're talking about.

women love sex more than men do????? oh yeah? if that's the case, why are women paid 3 to 4 X as much as men to do porn???

that is just 1 of a dozen or more facts that i can list to counter your drivel.

let the fireworks begin.

I don't think she's joking when she says, "Sorry, had to by them (nice tits)."
I hate when I misspell. "BUY" not "by".
I'm not gonna bother looking up her age, but looking at her face, she's no 20 something. What has held her back from success in her field? Looks? Talent?
If she really wanted to experiment with the porn business for material she should have done German or Japanese fetish type stuff. What she did was hardly noteworthy.

i think you're missing the point.

she did porn which is judged by everyone in america to be a reprehensible act. with an actor that somehow has developed some mainstream appeal. she wasn't doing it for the act of porn, clearly she sought Deen out because he was in the Lohan movie and he has achieved a perceived level of acceptability in the mainstream zeitgeist.

i think it draws into question what americans deem as acceptable. Paris Hilton, Pam Anderson, and Kardashian (and other "celebrities") can have sex tapes and develop reality shows and still be considered acceptable?

again, i'm not sure what happened to the teen mom girl who had sex with Deen and what that did for her career, other than a big pay day. Maybe she can parlay that into marrying a rich guy to take care of her? i don't know.

i just think it's interesting to examine here american perceptions of porn, morality and celebrity. and is it changing? what factors make it "okay" for some people like Kardashian, and not for others?

Sorry, Atyourcervix, but not everybody in America thinks doing porn is a bad thing. Particularly in the very liberal east coast city that is DC. And especially not in the hyper-liberal social circle of DC in which she happens to reside.

Watching the video was pretty weird, because I see this chick all the time at comedy events. Just seen her act, I've never had a conversation with her.

She is an aspiring comic and writer, and she clearly did this for the publicity, and I would imagine that there will be no negative repercussions from her social circle here in DC. In fact she is probably getting plenty of positive feedback from all the gay/bi dudes and straight/bi chicks who think Deen is hot.

Her act is very blue already - hell half the time she performs its at events that include burlesque shows, she'll probably work it into her act. Plus, she really needs the publicity. She is a barely-known local comic/blogger in a 2nd tier comic market (being generous to DC). "Teen Mom" starred in a reality TV show - much higher profile.
