All of the actors who participated were invited to participate and chose to be out.

The story was NOT about outing. It was a manifest by LGBTQs for more diversity in German theatre, film and tv. It's written on the cover story for the magazine with the 186 faces. I wonder why almost no one wrote about THAT? Because the letters were fineprint? Most of the artists were already out in public.Gay actors really don't hide in Berlin.

It was a good effort and really important. I know a few who must have not been asked or not chosen to participate. And not just the bi ones. But maybe they'll come out some other way.

I'm not sure I have the full list and have not read the article, but I didn't see Jo Weil, Benjamin Kiss, and Lars Steinhöfel on the list. Maybe this was people who came out with a purpose (and Jannik had already planned to do it).

And the ones that are not showing enough to be "out without saying it" are fun to gossip about but I'm not going to say more about that unless there's a lot of speculation and it's "fair" to wade into the discussion as to what we know and don't know.
 
Lars Steinhöfel is on the list. And as was pointed out, it’s not only about outing, but about demanding to be seen, cast and represented. I think many were out before, but some weren‘t

I didn't see Lars but thanks, but I guess the other two weren't there, though?

And otherwise I think we're miscommunicating. I already said in the post to which you responded that it was about people who came out with a purpose, not about outing someone who was in the closet. I never said anything about outing people.

Ok. Then I didn’t see that. And I guess it was clear, that no one got outet, but some outet themselves now. As you said with a purpose.
