Probably not a major character. But they need a lot of actors for supes. especially for where S4 ended. I'm trying to be vague for spoilers. But yeah.

He does know that he is an actor, right? I don't understand these types of stances when your profession is acting, which is an art form. If the role calls for it. Why not do it? Alan Ritchson is around the same as Jared and also has kids, but no hang ups when it comes nudity. Why? He is able to separate the job from his personal life.

This is why producers like to hire British actors and those who graduate from elite acting schools. They usually have no hang ups when it comes to "acting" and will support whatever the script demands from them. Now some for example do take it to the extreme and will actually lose extreme weight to provide authenticity to a role lol. But they just love the art of acting and so fame and fortune is just a bonus for them.

So it's up to the writer. If they write a sex scene, then it's going to happen.

True his body, but if a role requires nudity, then he shouldn’t accept the job if he’s uncomfortable. Simple as that. Jensen had his first scene nude scene too on The Boys. He read the script. It required nudity, wasn’t sure about that, but ultimately decided to accept the role and conditions.

Exactly. Do you really think he would turn down the role just because there's nudity? Jared was the guy who showed the most body on Supernatural. He did the hottest scenes. He's never been afraid to be naked, it just hasn't been necessary until now.

Not every actor says this. There is always a caveat in terms of the script and it making sense for the scene. Which makes sense to me. There is no interview (that I know of) in which Jensen said he would never go nude.

He and his wife basically didn't tell him because he may have turned around and said it was a dumb idea, wanted changes to the idea, wanted a subsequent producer credit and also part of the financial cut.
As said, it doesn't matter now as it got canned.
Maybe Jared would have said to Jensen our show's motto is 'no chick flick moments' and this project you two have hatched up in nothing but chick flick moments. It's totally against the Supernatural milieu.

If we are all honest, it’s Jensen’s wife that has him whipped. She says and he obeys. You can tell by the body language. Also, the constant necessity of her to be included in things he’s in. She is a nobody but tries to make skits with him that fell flat. Got herself on Supernatural. Uses his platforms and fandoms to push her ideas. She’s like Giselle Bundchen with Brady with the difference that Giselle is a somebody. Tore his friendship with Wes welker apart. I entirely believe Jensen’s wife has done the same between Pads and Acks.

Jared got the much better wife honestly.
