Hmm, so the guy gets the lusty eye treatment and spooning "morning after" scene, but the girl gets the actual kiss..... alrighty.

Other than that from the trailer the show looks like it'd be a decent watch. Knowing Netflix though I don't see it making beyond 1 season.

Well from the books its based on Nathan (Jay) doesn't realize he likes Gabriel until like later and he's with the girl (Annalise) initially. Gabriel is gay though and Nathan kisses him sometimes in the first book but thinks its just "friends being friends"

No potential about it, that has to be his boyfriend. James is playing the character "Bernard Dowd", and who is Bernard Dowd but the comic book boyfriend of Tim. There's literally zero reason for them to give that character his name and not put them together unless the writers are on a massive troll campaign.
