He really shouldn't have. He was good, but after Disney night it just was okay. There were others who did way better.

Well… isnt it the votes that count? The judges can only go so far… so, lets think for a split second the demographics that vote more than anything
Personally I disagree, he was incredibly consistent all season. Definitely deserving to win. All 5 of the finalists were so good it was hard.
This was one of the best dances of the season. Derek Hough said it was one of the BEST Fox Trot's he has ever seen. Pretty big compliment coming from a professional dancer.
I am not surprised he won, bro never put a shirt on. He clearly knew what he was doing.
They were too afraid to take risks. He was just boring to watch near the end. If we were going on consistent performances it should have been Chandler. If we were going on the most growth it should have been Stephen.
Don't get me wrong. Joey had a fantastic start, but then he got to a point where he was doing well, but the entertainment just flat-lined and wasn't interesting to watch unless he took off his shirt. I just believe there were couples that were more entertaining, took more risks, and had noticeable growth.
To each their own, considering he won, the judges and the voting public disagree.
Nah.. JOEY OWNED IT! If there's anyone else who slayed in the Finale, that would have been Stephen who should have been 2nd (sorry Ilona and Chandler fans). But overall, JOEY is a deserving winner -- dance-wise, fandom size, and star power!
I agree but I don't begrudge Ilona being second she won the judges and America over. Stephen's freestyle was epic but 4th is respectable and he won in sooo many other ways. Likeable American Hero.
