They say that he's bi, but I feel like they're never going to actually show it. I guess we'll have to wait and see, but I suggest that no one holds their breath.
The biggest problem is that we don't know who has the opinion on that, the producers or Cena himself.
My guess would be Cena himself, being uncomfortable filming a scene like that

It was Cena’s idea i’m sure for his character to be gay in Trainwreck and he’s an exec producer on Peacemaker. I think he’s begging to play a gay character.
