Just watched his Actors on Actors sit down with Naomi Watts. Absolutely fantastic and crazy as fuck that he was filming Bridgerton, Fellow Travelers and Wicked at the same time.

I hope that he plays a gay character. I have a feeling that he wont. It would be another too common miss opportunity from a big studio to finally get a genre movie with a gay lead. I hope that i'm wrong and he will play a gay character. But we are so used to see gay actors playing straight characters again and again and again and again. HOLLYWOOD is still struggling to show gay characters as leads in big studio movies.
Its really not normat that we get a big studio gay movie every few eclipses. We got Knock At The Cabin last year. Bros in 2022. Love Simon in 2018. Do the math. We should have at least a couple of gay movies a year. Unfortunately, gay movies are still seen as niche in big studios eyes. So they dont care about gay movies. It really feels like they make gay movies only for being woke. They have to make more gay movies. Gay men are tired of depressing sad endings in independent small budget gay drama movies. Make big studios gay movies. Its about time.
