Nudity is down across the board, male and female. Producers said it was a deliberate choice to tone down the sex. I think that's a mistake. The sex is a big part of what set it apart from other period romance dramas. Longing stairs and sexual tension is good, but SEX IS BETTER

Sexual tension was amazing! So I was expected sex scenes. Why was there more nudity in S1 with a straight actor but now there are fewer to none with a gay one.

maybe it was because with all the sex from season 1 they got people to watch the show and now that we are hooked they tone it down. People are gonna watch it anyway

Yes, straight actor had quite a few nude scenes in Season 1, but I'd really like to say Jonathan Bailey (who literally STARTED the Premiere Episode featuring his butt) had several nude scenes as well

I liked it overall, but disappointed by the lack of sex scenes compared to last year. Having said that, he did have great chemistry with Simone Ashley. I was pretty impressed by his performance too, since I’ve mostly seen him in lightweight comedies.

There are 8 books, for each sibling. The show is renewed through season 4.

Isn't the reality that Daphne was set aside because her on-screen husband peaced out after being turned down for a pay increase, and there's no real way to substantially maintain her on-screen alone

Each sibling is the "star" of their book, with the others supporting.

Her being around her family makes plenty of sense, and it makes plenty of sense that her husband would stay home. I do wish they had explained his absence a bit more though.
