It will depend on word of mouth tbh, but so far I think Wicked might have the upper hand.
- Better ticket presales so far.
- Smaller budget ($145m compared to Gladiators alleged budget range of $200-250m)
- Probably a more devoted audience (Wicked is an insanely popular musical for many years)
- Family market; so potentially more audience (it's rated PG compared to R rating for Gladiator)
It does have some things working against it though like
an insanely long runtime (2h40m)
and the fact that it is not the complete story (it's only part 1)
both of which might turn some people off. But as long as it's good and the music delivers, it could overcome those things and still be a hit.

The characters are, and there's an unwritten rule here that you can't post such stuff with underage characters (which doesn't apply to every thread somehow, as proven by KJ Apa's and Tom Holland's threads, for example). No official stills or screencaps are allowed, HOWEVER if the photo is a BTS shot of ADULT ACTORS being out of characters I see no problem in posting such stuff
