I think you’re all digging for gold that doesn’t exist. It’s not “all of a sudden” and it’s not some kind coming out, he wants to be gay at Capital storyline. Scott Mills and Nick Grimshaw were gay on R1 for years. It’s likely Jordan’s contract was up for renewal. His agent shopped around to force a better deal and Capital came forward. Jamie Laing being a replacement is odd (replacing a working class northern man who worked his way up with a nepo posh boy seems silly) but it makes sense given how massive his two podcasts are. There would have been contracts and meetings. Talent scouts would have found many replacements and approached them before Jamie Laing. Like, it’s just a business deal. Also, I feel the BBC expects presenters to operate a certain way. I don’t think they’d have liked the subject of Jordan’s podcast or the stuff he says. Do I think he’s gay and that blonde guy in his pics is his partner? ABSOLUTELY.
When BBC Radio DJs leave they do not announce where they’re going, it’s part of the contract not to try and lure listeners to their new station. The whole situation is a little off and odd. Especially to just announce he’s leaving and Jamie Laing is His replacement with no news from him where he is going. I didn’t know he’s moving to capital that’s a more hip radio station for him anyway. I would hate to assume but maybe with this move he will be more open with this sexuality which I know he could be at the BBC as well, but has chosen to keep it ambiguous.
Help I sexted my boss is an Acast and Amazon podcast not BBC soundsWhen BBC Radio DJs leave they do not announce where they’re going, it’s part of the contract not to try and lure listeners to their new station.
I don’t know what that means for Roman Kemp, as it says in the news that Jordan is replacing him.
I also don’t know what will happen to his Sexted My Boss podcast as that’s a BBC Sounds podcast but I assume it’ll end as well, now he’s moved to a rival?
But 82 episodes are on BBC Sounds, how does that work?Help I sexted my boss is an Acast and Amazon podcast not BBC sounds
Dean is dreadful. Him and Vicky are like personality black holes. Not to be dramatic, but I won’t listen to R1 anymore. Only Greg there that’s ok, and they keep Dean! Nah mate
