Have you actually read the books? In the 3rd one he’s barely a background character. He has one scene at the start and one at the end and the book is almost entirely from the perspective of Egwene and Mat. The show is just compressing the books

But the show didn't go the way the books go. The first season was Moraine the Main Character and they take stuff that not came in the first novel. I don't think they will put moraine or rand in the background.

I saw him live once. He was in a restaurant in Poland. I wouldn't think it's him, but I recognized him by his voice and accent. When I looked into his direction I was so surprised to see him there... He was just the same as in the WOT, I don't have doubts it was him.
