Brian is a total disgrace for this. If he was targeted for being gay and bullied by homophobes, he would be crying tattoo tears for equality and fair treatment. But it is OK in his eyes to treat others the way he does. People been beaten, killed for him and many of us to be able to be accepted, walk free into society today. I really dont think it was like that, I feel like the moment money was involved it dilutes alot of these things. He was known for preying on the community for money and you can tell the moment that his subscriptions dropped it was another thing that came up wheter it be “Im bisexual”…to “Im married to a man (with a clear fake license) to “Im going to do adult films” to “Im now poly” to “Im divorced” to “Im dating a trans girl” the list goes on and on so when he passes away right around the same time the Lil Tay incident happened and so many articles and reliable sources announced her “death” then two days later its revealed that she is actually alive people have the right to feel apprehensive. Its also weird that it was posted on his instagram story the day of. Who typed up a statement, accessed his social media and then posted it before anyone else could break the news?

I genuinely hope he gets help for his mental health and that he can figure out his sexuality, gender, whatever; however, a) do not do it on a public platform and b) stop being a spokesperson for a community that you belong to, but still have not learned about.

The fact that at one point he was saying he was going back to being straight because it is easier just exemplifies that he has a lot of baggage to sort through, and for him to be lauded as the second coming of RuPaul is ridiculous.

Also, we can hold individuals accountable while also respecting their mental health issues. Discussing his mental health struggles in relation his bullshit, which he definitely shares for us to discuss, is not making light of mental health issues.
