I thought the same thing. Nick looks really upset and Justin doesn't seem to give a shit. His personality has also changed and hes come a lot more flamboyant than he once was.
I was also taken back by their comments about only making the announcement on twitch. They got their "start" on YouTube and Instagram - to make it like those communities don't matter anymore was really upsetting. Not everyone follows their twitch. Something should be said on all of their social accounts.
Either way, the whole stream just made me not like Justin that much
Honestly it’s been such a LONG time coming I think they’ve lowkey been broken up for months. No one was wearing the engagement ring, they barely post on Instagram, Nick started his own Instagram and Twitter and everything. I’m sure they tried to work through it but sometimes it doesn’t work...and that’s ok.
Also I feel like they did it on twitch because they’re nervous about doing it on insta and YouTube where they have a bigger following. Or they’re going to say it there soon. The internet can be an unforgiving place and it seems like they both don’t wish for the other to receive some sort of backlash which is fair. Since at the end of the day whatever happened and whatever their relationship was REALLY like is none of our business....

Keep in mind that Justin is in “streamer mode”, he just spent the last three hours laughing and having fun entertaining chat, this is how Justin always acts.
Same with Nick, anytime he has shown up on stream in the past he has been quiet and reserved, Nick is not a streamer, it’s Justin’s stream and Nick has always respected that allowing Justin to keep the spotlight to himself.
I get the feeling they had no intention of ever making it public to anyone. I think the only reason they tolled Twitch now is because Justin is moving out next week and people would have had questions. Twitch is also the only platform they have an active community left, they stopped posting on Instagram, and Nick has created his own space to do his own thing and build is own community.
Why? I’ve been watching Justin for months, he is always kind and funny and entertaining. He has always been effeminate, Twitch just gave him a creative outlet to let that part of him shine.
Most recent life decision was them saying they were buying a house, but that may have just been for the sponsorship with whatever mortgage company.
Don’t read to much into Justin’s disposition. I watched his stream over the years and he had the same disposition two years ago when he announced his cancer and had to go through treatment again. He was upbeat and cool about it. I think it’s a defense mechanism to joke and smile through his hurt.
