did you ever post a comment on a thread, looking forward to all the responses that will follow, only to see that apparently your post killed the conversation?
Yes, but who really cares. It never really dies, it disolves into the ether, only to reappear at some point in the distant future. Forums are an invention of recent times. It allows the everyday folk to post our humour, emotions and thoughts. We post publicly, we post always knowing that others will be thinking either the same or differentlly. In the end it is the freedom to do so, within the the restrictions of site rules.
Posting in a particular sites forums is a priveledge, not a right.
Not everyone is going to share anothers point of view or opinion. I don't have anyone on ignore because not everyone agrees with everyone 100% of the time. I look for the unusual, original, the creative, it comes in all shapes and sizes. I must say, I enjoy sitting in my chair and viewing instantly pics and thoughts of others around the globe. Just to think, I could not type a word a few or twenty to thirty years ago

And I don't use spellcheck

....blah blah. If I were to reach my 90's....well, who cares about that.
