Guess he has to enjoy short hair while he can because when that John snow goes into production back to long hair lol. Unless they make the character have short hair of course but it wouldn’t keep to cannon.

There's no reason he couldn't have short hair. The TV show "Snow" isn't an adaptation of other published works like the first few seasons of GoT. So it doesn't have any cannon to maintain.
True but since its post GOT and the same character they may want him to keep the same hair. Plus short hair doesn't really fit with that style show, at least how is wearing it. They may be able to get him a good hairpiece.
