lOn IMDB, when you go to Kit Harington's page, it has this "Career Retrospective" video, almost as if they're saying his career is over and they're looking back on it.

LOL. I know that's not what they're saying and what this means, but that's what I thought of. 'Cuz when organizations do these "looking back on" things, it's usually when someones at the end of their run and people want to do a respectful reminisce.

Nah, that's just imdb being weird. Some actors' pages have a trailer of their latest project, some get this career retrospective thing, for some reason. The funny thing about Kit's is that his career is just...GoT.

lol. technically not true, but i get the point. GoT is the only big thing he's done... besides the big packages of other actors, producers, and directors.

A lot of actors have career retrospectives on their pages Bradley Cooper ,Rami Malek, Brie Larson even Lady Gaga among others. I'm guessing they decide who gets a career retrospective based off whose IMDB pages have the most engagement not what you are saying

I would too but Hollywood producers get flooded with more youthful and desperate boy toys than him.

Everyday they do. There is limited window for someone like Kit. He's handsome, but he is short and a little one note. The powers that be in Hollywood gave him some lead roles, like Pompeii. He looked ridiculous in that movie lol. Great body, but was not a good fit for the role. Also some other opportunities, but he doesn't click with audiences outside of GoT. He's no Tom Cruise, who is also short, but has amazing charisma.

You can only rely on your looks for so long because there is another 20 something young guy waiting in the wings. He did have a window after GoT, but hasn't been able to capitalize on it. He's still young though.

I just want a nude scene. Hopefully Industry doesn't disappoint.

Problem with actors from Game of thrones is that noone who played a huge role is a very talented actor so the roles they can play are limited. Kit for example has almost no expression. He is handsome but has just one face. He can play the good guy in some marvel type of movies but that's all. Or the handsome warrior like

I'd argue that a handful of main cast members are exceptional actors compared to the rest, who were just solid. Lena Headey, Peter Dinklage, Pedro Pascal, and Charles Dance are sophisticated actors compared to the others. Diana Rigg as well, though I don't know if her character counted as one of the main ones.


I see your point though. You're right about 80 percent of the main cast. They're just decent.

I was going to say the same thing. Most of the cast are decent, if not a little basic, but there are a few stand outs. Those you mentioned as well as Aiden Gillen and Gwendolyn Christie are all very good actors.

Pretty much though I disagree with the Pompeii part. His role was basically Jon Snow in Gladiator which fits him to a fault - when you get famous for one long lasting role (see Harry Potter) the audience will always pinpoint you to said role limiting your future prospects. That‘s why smart management like the one of Tim Chalamet is trying to get Into a wide array of productions as possible.

He's also part of a noble family. The Harington baronets of Ridlington. His Dad is the 15th baronet.

Some aristos can be arrogant/snobby anyway, not saying Kit and his wife are, but that's been the stereotype. Kit seems like a cool guy though, but you are still a peasant to him lol.

Yes in the UK and those in that circle. For US. It doesn't really matter. He is just Kit a British actor, who happens to be very wealthy and from old money.
