Yeah, I think we all have our fair share of trauma and its easy to overlook. One of the first people that I met that did sex work was the nicest guy, lots of mental health problems, overdosed at 26. Pretty isn't a get out of trauma free card. I think the gay community does a really poor job of teaching the importance of contentment, just learning to be present.
