That depends on what you’re looking for. Do you want to be a tourist, or do you want to relax? Contrary to popular beliefs, LA has a pretty good transit system. There are lots of good options along the red and purple subway lines. The subway will even provide good access to the train station for your day trip up to Santa Barbara.
