I thought that Lance was a cool dude from his books and stuff until I met him at a private party in 2003. He is a DICK. Incredibly rude.

Interestingly, he had dinner at a restaurant the next night where I happen to know the chef. I guess the whole wait staff was excited when he showed up. Then, similar to my experience, they were quite surprised when they realized that he is **not** a nice person.

If you read his books, it sort of makes sense. He has a real "chip" on his shoulder. His father abandoned him and his mother when he was young; the mother remarried a guy who beat him; he hated school and the principals who reprimanded him; he was told he would never amount to anything in cycling (or otherwise); yada; yada; yada...

Who is "Floyd?" Did I miss something?

Floyd Landis is the American that "won" the race this year, but had fifty different stories about how he could possibly have 4 times the limit of testosterone in his body. Maybe he should just tell them that it came from his bull balls.
