Dude, bras have so many variables. Cup size/band size to preferred fabrics to function.
If you are intimate with the bra wearing human check out what they already own. This will go along way to preferences and size.
If you haven't seen their underwear buying them underwear is not a good idea.

I'm afraid the chances of you getting it right are little to none, too many variables as already pointed out.
You need to know your partner extremely well to even have half a chance of getting it right and as you're asking the question you obviously don't, best thing is to go underwear shopping with your partner, I know it takes the surprise outta it but you can make it fun x
