VidIQ does stats for Youtube. I know the earnings because VID IQ shows Youtubers know who makes what and I'm starting a Youtube channel . . . eventually

Mr. Beast (top earner) makes 1.95 million per month . . .

Those estimates are usually wildly off. CPM for different channels can vary and most channels are making most of their money externally through merch and sponsors

I agree. Maybe I should have thought twice about it.

At thesame time, thereare large Youtubers that make a low income. Post-it

John Deere makes $16,00 per month https://www.youtube.com/@JohnDeere

Absolutely unreliable, indeed.

Your post-it example only has 7.50k subscribers which is a pathetic number the average person could achieve with a single mildly interesting video. And they themselves are a brand which does advertising so $0 makes sense. But they are owned by 3M which made a net profit of $3.25 Billion last year

Your other example of John Deere is another company which advertises on the platform and has nearly half a million subscribers but massively low viewership and viewer retention so Zero to $16 makes sense. John Deere as a company made just over $5 Billion last year.

Not to be a dick but if you acknowledge these "estimates" are entirely guesses - it is all bullshit. Regardless of the Content Creator/Brand.

If you're very curious about LTG YouTube income, I believe they did a massive breakdown around the time they hired that CEO and were defending their sloppy benchmarking and the other controversies.
