Lipstick!!

Depends on how I feel, the image I need to portray for the day and what I am wearing. Back in the day, Robert ... uh what was his name ... he sang addicted to love. Geesh can't remember. He had the girls in black dresses with slicked back hair with big red lips ... yea I did that more than once.

Robert Palmer?

He died a few years back.

Oh c'mon now. A few times a year its fun to get slutted up a bit. Bright lipstick, a little body glitter brushed into your cleavage, maybe even a little red lipstick on your nipples, a skirt too short and heels too high, nice cocktails, and guys dressed GQ is not gonna kill anyone.

After sex the next morning and room service breakfast in the hotel, with champagne mimosas for 2, throw on whole wheat hiking shoes, hair in a pony tail, fresh scrubbed face and no make up and walk a city park or hit an art museum.

Isn't there room for both?

BTW hot lipstick on occasion is FUN.

Both sound good to me. An evening like that is like long teasing foreplay with your clothes on.
The mimosas would make me want to stay in and have more sex. I've never had lipstick on my nipples. Seems it would rub off on your clothing?

What about that newish lipstick that you put the clear cover on and it doesn't come off for 12 hours or whatever? How lame is that... I can't imagine how bad that will end up being.

It actually works quite well for me. If I bother wearing makeup at all this is what I'll use. Lip-Finity bt Max Factor or the Cover Girl version both work as promised and wont rub off while kissing.

For daily wear I just use a gloss. Blistex makes one that feels like heaven and is super shiny.

Part of the makeup "style" of one ethnic group really makes me laugh, though. Bright peachy lips with brick-red liner. I call it "the clown mouth."

I find this looks even stranger when I see black women use vivid red lipstick with a black liner.

YES! I dont understand the phenom when anyone does it unless they see their body as a canvas.

Well I like lipstick. I know where it comes from too. I remember the pinups from the 40's and up. They always had red lips and heels and a great pose. Those are the exact things I like.

On a different slant, I do not like injected lips at all. Go figure.

Sorry TK, but why is lame? And in what way would it end up being 'bad'?
I wear Max Factor's Lipfinity (or another manufacturers version) every day because I really dont have the time during my working day to bother about checking my appearance on a regular basis & reapply lippy when needed. Lipfinity is the ideal solution.

Lipstick is the only makeup I wear, unless it's a special occasion, and then I'll wear eye shadow, blush and mascara. I'm sure men don't appreciate lipstick that tastes like perfume, just like we don't. There are some good body-friendly makeup lines out there with no toxic chemicals, and some of them have added fruity flavors, which is nice.
