List Of Communal/Open Showers In Sydney

Sorry for late reply, yes it did! Was this really hot guy who frequents the sauna as he uses the gym. You don’t need to be a guest but you don’t need to pay, I think it’s around $40 as it includes gym, pool, sauna, steam room etc.

Thanks for the update gaytravelxx. Sounds so good. Where do you go to pay for day access, like the hotel reception or to the gym?

I see around Cronulla a few of the communal beach showers are in very old buildings. I can see these getting rebuilt as unisex ones over the next few years.

Anyone been to Victoria Park Pool recently? Are the showers still doorless?
I went there couple of days ago, Nothing seems to have changed at all. (much to my liking) And Showers are all fixed. It's actually really nice to go there in winter as the pool water is quite warm. Cook Phillip park was freezing cold when I went there last week as they were having problems with it.

Has anyone found any more open showers that haven't been listed here? Ocean pool/gym or public pools?

I've got a few to add;

San Souci Leisure Centre - Indoor Pool (Two separated shower rows with two showers each, have taps so no button to push, but change room is old and a bit gross)

Olympic Park - Competition Pool Showers (Single row of 4 showers)

City Gym - Wet Area (Single Row 3 showers)

Babylon Nights Spa - (Divided Facing each other)

Can anyone access the Olympic Park Competition Pool/showers and do people often use it? That's a lot more convenient for me.

Also I've been to Babylon before and there's a couple of people who hang around the spa completely nude, it was really freeing. Most people wear the shorts but no one was mad or against the nudity. Entry fee isn't great though as it increased from the last time I went there to $48.

Might try check out Cook + Phillip Park Pool today.

Sure can, as long as the competition pool is open for the public they should be open.
I've haven't seen it busy there however.

Let us know how Cook + Phillip is. Haven’t been there in ages but used to go all the time.

As has been said by others VPP is the same with no work having commenced yet. I was there last week and apart from one shower not working it was the same. Only other difference was the soap was in bottles rather than the wall dispensers.

Cook & Phillip was surprisingly busy just after lunch yesterday, both the lockers and the showers. The week before on the Thursday evening it was freezing as the boiler was on the blink.

Was so busy today at around 3pm! Hopped into the shower and around five to six other guys including myself were there at first wearing shorts but then one person got naked and the rest did as well. They were pretty decent looking too, I could also see that a guy was getting a semi and trying touch his dick occasionally and wasn’t sure if another guy was trying to check me out. That was a great first open shower experience. Wish open showers were more common around Sydney and that I lived closer, I would go regularly.

Thank you for these, funny I've been to these pools but must have gone to the wrong sections! San souci I used the outdoor changerooms and showers had doors, I never tried the indoor part. Olympic park I saw two change rooms around the competition pool and they both had doored showers, I must find this mysterious third one. (assuming you don't mean the showers poolside)

Can one gain casual entry to city Gym? I don't live in the area and could never justify a membership but have always wanted to see the place
