Considering at Nobbys beach they "upgraded" The facilities now being only toilet cubicles and no change area at all in order to apparantely "protect children" it'll be lucky if there's even showers at all. Nobbys toilet controversy could have been avoided

In these times of 'everyone/everything is a risk', enjoy open showers while you can. You're on borrowed time. They will be relegated to history as older change rooms are 'upgraded'. And don't expect open showers in anything new.

So regarding C+P finally got a chance on monday arvo to go there again
This time i tried the upstairs change rooms/showers
And yes definitely a more cruisy vibe

City Gym has Spa/sauna and 3 open showers in male change room. (walk past the cubicles and around the corner)

checked it out last week in the day around lunch time very disappointed noone around the showers, hottub or steam room, maybe night is better but i wouldnt' go back not worth the casual pass.

I checked it out today and it is a good setup. Big muscle boys in the gym but not as many in the spa/steam room. There was hot fit Latino guy though openly having a shower though today. Would go again

New here, so I thought I'd share some photos of my local pool at Prariewood. Two different change rooms. First two are the indoor 25m pool/gym changeroom showers, last three are the outside under grandstand, 50m pool changeroom showers. Although, 50m pool is closed for much needed refurbishment until November unfortunately.

Divided but doorless showers. Warm enough water, not a great deal of water pressure though. Predominantly nude users, everyone is pretty chill and chatty.

Not a cruising spot. Do NOT attempt action here - due to the attached waterpark and swim classes, there are a LOT of families, and lifeguards check in often. Please don't ruin the vibe.

Used to go there 3 times a week! such a good little pool to relax in.

The outdoor showers used to not have dividers when I was doing lessons there.

As for the indoor showers, I dont rememeber seeing many nude there, but glad it is changing what time and day did you visit?

I was at Cook & Phillip for an early morning swim today. Ended up using the upstairs shower as the downstairs had no soap in the dispensers. It was very quiet there and I was the only one in the showers.
I will be back on Sunday afternoon for another swim.

Oh Good I've been meaning to make a day trip or two up to Newy to see what's there. Will have to try Lambton. Been exploring Wollongong lately, Best I've found is Uni of Wollongong. Open shower room 3 sides with shower heads and close together. (White changeroom with black mats), Couldn't get a good photo of shower room unfortunately due to other people arriving. Woonona Rockpool is the pic with the Graffiti on the wall. And Thirroul beach (grey Tiles, Yellow paint) has a good open shower room, heads both sides. Love the roofless changeroom. It was the main campus in Wollongong. Keiraville or whatever the suburb is. Change rooms were along side the pool
