12 years total - 10 years, then we broke up for 4 years and then got back together for 2 years. Yeah re-uniting was stupid. I guess I thought I could settle. I couldn't.

The Mrs. and I have known each other for 17 years, but we've only been "an item" for the past eight.

I was never in a relationship previous to now that had any prospects of becoming serious...and they were mostly measured in weeks, with a couple spanning a few months. For the most part, though, I did whatever and whomever I pleased when the mood struck me.
