Hi

I'd like to lose some weight and tone up a bit, but without going to the gym. Does anyone have any advice? I'm not looking to be super muscular, but rather to be in better shape. It's both for my health and to reduce my insecurities.

If you also have any advice on diet, I'd love to hear it. Thanks in advance ;)

simply improving your diet can help, i find fitting in protein helps things be filling but mainly focus on your changes being sustainable, perhaps start small, you dont seem that big though so progress wont be crazy
also fitness wise without a gym your limited to like walks and body weight stuff, going for walks with friends or with your headphones in, i like to listen to audiobooks while i excercise for example

long and short make small changes you can mantain, they dont have to be all at once either

Track your calories accurately. Figure out a baseline. Aim for 200-300 calories below the number you need to maintain your current weight. You can either add a 30-60 minute walk to burn 200-400 calories, or you can eat less.

Eat a gram of protein per pound of your ideal weight.

Pushups, pull-ups, and body weight squats.

Recalibrate every few weeks as you start to lose weight.

Weight loss is 80% diet anyway.

1. Cut salt, sugar and processed foods.

2. Meal prep.

3. Intermittent fasting.

4. If you struggle with all of the above then you can ask your doctor about GLP-1 medications.
