Hey, I am sure you answered this question already. However, what is the purpose of the points given? Can you redeem them for a membership or what....lol?

Hello.

No, the points are non-redeemable. :)

They are basically for bragging rights. They might have had a purpose 20 years ago, but that reason seems lost in time.

the labels get stored as we add them. If One feel those labels are not needed and want to remove so that they wont be visible, how to remove them?
Is this what you mean by labels?

Im sorry, but I guess I’m not sure what you mean by the term label.

I would like to delete some of the labels. How to do it?
In the above image you can see labels containing "vi". These were used by me previously. So, they popup as I type. Now, the label "vidoes" popup because it is creased with a typo. I want to delete that label so that it wont popup ever. How to do this?
Thank you very much for taking interest in the problem I posted and suggesting the solutions.

Why don't you just make a quick snippet tool video of your screen to show what you mean? I am not sure what you mean, so I am not surprised that LPSG is having difficulty helping you. Just a suggestion.

I now see what you mean. Your browser is remembering things you entered in search. I suggest clearing out your browsers history and cookies. That should fix the issue.

They are not associated with the browser. They are associated with my account. I want to clear some of the labels.

If I clear out my browser history and cookies, and then go into search, it does not show any labels.

Excuse me for butting in, but has this issue been resolved? I was having the same problem. I’d like to share some information about this.

To put it simply, if you delete all bookmarks with the label you want to remove or remove the label from them, it will also be removed from the dropdown menu. However, and this is just my guess, if the post that you bookmarked with that label is deleted, the label may become one that cannot be removed from the dropdown menu.

This site is built using software called “XenForo.” Our bookmarks are managed in a table called “xf_bookmark_item,” and when we save a bookmark, data is stored there in the form of a set consisting of the user, post, and label. When you visit this page (https://www.lpsg.com/account/bookmarks), active posts will be displayed, but deleted posts will not appear. If, due to XenForo's design, the data in the “xf_bookmark_item” table associated with a post is not deleted when the post is deleted, bookmark data that cannot be deleted via the user interface will remain. If a label is attached there, it is likely to be a label that cannot be deleted from the drop-down menu.

However, it appears this has been fixed in the following update. If LPSG were to apply this, the issue might be resolved, but it probably won’t be easy.

Bookmark list v1.2

The moderators here are friendly and skilled at managing the community, but they aren’t necessarily software experts. (Neither am I.) If you encounter a problem and find a solution, you might want to share your feedback. 😉
