To be fair I took that comment to more so to mean she thinks he has some bisexuality/bisexual tendencies and not that he’s gay flat out.

I don't blame her. I don't care how straight someone claims to be. I would assume they are at least bi if they willingly keep kissing their same sex friends just for the lulz/fun.
one thing I'll say is that Ludwig is always kissing the good looking friends, I never seen him kissing ugly dudes
Honey you need to get out into the world and learn some things, men kiss men for fun or as dares like its not a big deal and it does not make them gay, straight men are allowed to have fun and do shit in their 20s the same as the rest of us
His parents are French so it could just be a cultural willingness that she's not used to.
