Maybe look at it this way: one murder which may affect change in our insurance practices so a wealthy CEO earning $10M/year doesn’t feel the need to ensure claims are denied just to watch the bottom line. How many have died from denied claims, or made to be in medical debt for life due to hospital bills? What becomes of them when they can’t eat healthy food because they can’t afford it due to paying hospital bills that should have been covered by the insurance policy that they also pay for.

One man died who may not have cared about his customers enough. One man threw away his life of privilege in order to try to affect change in a broken system.

Was it justified? I’m sure it was to Luigi Mangione.
