Brian Thompson was scheduled to testify under oath to the Department of Justice about insider trading and fraud at UnitedHealthcare. Whistleblowers "die" in the USA. (For example, in 2024, 2 Boeing whistleblowers and one OpenAI whistleblower "died".) I'm not ruling out that Thompson was killed by a professional and that Luigi is a patsy. If Luigi did do it, then he's a folk hero (or as in Argentina or Latin America, a folk saint) and not a patsy.

There's something so weird about this. Like idk if it's bc he's attractive, but for some reason I feel like I want to rescue him. I've seen hot criminals and never felt that way but with Luigi it feels different.
