For me, it was shallow Instagay dates shallow Instagay to check if he's as shallow as the package says it is. Turns out, they are both as shallow and toxic as the other. All the gay people I know hated it. Every hackneyed clichés liberals paddle about gay people is in this movie, all the while managing to pander to and comfort conservative homophobia. Amazing! But I will admit, it is also my mistake to have taken to the buzz and have expected a romantic comedy to be a beacon of anything remotely good and truly representative.
