In your opinionI'm glad too that Magic is indeed supporting his son. However, I wish such a public gay figure wasn't quite SO effeminite. I mean, a purse??? I actually would've rather him have identified himself as a transvestite than gay.
Magic with a J, nice.

I will try and clarify even though I don't feel I should have to. I have absolutely no problem with guys like Magic's son. I'm friends with some and care about them very much. However, the media just eats up a soundbite such as the one with Magic's son. Likewise, when the gay pride parade is covered, the extremes are most often shown, when, of course, the majority of gay men and lesbians lead very similar lives to those "straight" people. What a fucking judgmental piece of shit you are.
My problem with your statement was how you decided that his being effeminate made you want him to declare himself as a transvestite. Why? Why should he declare himself as anything other than who and what he is?I will try and clarify even though I don't feel I should have to. I have absolutely no problem with guys like Magic's son. I guess because I'm 46 I'm a little more sensitive to this than younger people because back in the day homosexuals were much more ostracized. I admit the climate has changed exponentially for the better. However, when I hear people---including gay people---snickering over the appearance of someone like Magic's son, I'm angered at the press drooling over posting him. I'm also frustrated that Magic's son would be posted caring a purse on the very day he "comes out" publicly
I'm not saying I don't pass judgement on certain people, gay or straight. I'm human.

Yes, I saw him too. He's pretty overweight, carries a strap purse, and should be on RuPauls Drag race soon.
