It’s not really about being ashamed or keeping quiet. Like I said it’s sort of unintentional for me. Like an example being when I played the game PIMD. I was obsessed with the name (let’s just say) Kevin. (Not the name I chose but an example). I loved the name and so I chose that as my character name. As I make friends in the game I even made real life friends that I talk to everyday. They would know me as Kev Kevin or other nicknames from that name. When. I get bored with the name I may change my name again. I changed my name to scissor once lmao. I had my own club. New people learned my name and I became scissor to a lot of people. Just the cycle repeats itself till you have 50 different names across multiple different gaming and social media platforms. Like I said it’s just a RPG thing. If you don’t get it’s fine. But it does have its advantages such as what did end up happening. No one being able to pin you down (easily at least) because god knows what your name is on another social media/gaming platform.
