So it's that time of year, 3 years ago I had a hysterectomy.
I have finally come to a place where I feel like it's better for me to turn my fucked up hormonal bullshit into a positive. Instead of buying tampons or pads for myself I'm going to start getting a decent amount every month to donate to the local shelter.
I don't bleed anymore, but I personally know several homeless women/people with uteruses who do. I should have been donating for years. Food and clothes are obvious and plenty of people bring stuff like that but I know sanitary products for people with uteruses aren't donated as often and are just as needed.
So, that's my lemonade for the day. I like lemonade.
