Well, I would maintain there are or have been exceptions. I loved the NOB HILL THEATER in San Francisco which has been closed in 2018 after 50 years (!!!) of operation! It was the best and hottest location you can imagine. I experienced unforgettable shows. And the strippers walked thru the rows getting more and more nude and you could touch them, suck them and afterwards even more...It was like a fairy tale. A dream that came true. Happy those who were lucky to be witnesses!

I only went to the Nob Hill Theater once when a friend was performing. I'd met Alex Cort in his hometown of San Antonio in 1993 when down there for a training. I was cruising the YMCA steam room and ran into the guy who was on the cover of the current Inches Magazine.

We fucked a few times, including when I shot a load over the headboard in the hotel and my jizz went behind the glass of a framed watercolor and caused the paint to run.

I miss the "good old days" when gay strip clubs allowed full nudity, interaction with the audience, etc.

Maybe the most famous was the Gaiety Theatre in New York, right in Times Square. It was a seedy little place upstairs, above the Howard Johnson's, with a small stage and a runway, and tinsel curtains surrounding the stage. Strippers would come out to dance and do a strip down to underwear or a thong or something. Then they would leave the stage and come back naked and with a hardon. In the early days, pre-Giuliani, you used to be able to get a private show right behind the stage, but from the mid-'90s on you'd need to make an arrangement to meet the guys between shows at their hotel rooms, and pay a pretty penny for what was usually a pretty sexually uneventful event. Most of the guys were straight, and most from Canada. But they were generally very hot and I had great times there. There were also a couple of other full-nude gay strip clubs nearby for a while, one on 8th Avenue, forget where the other was. The dancers there were mostly gay and mostly local. They would have full nudity, and there was more interaction in the room between strippers and patrons. All of those clubs eventually shut down.

In San Francisco, there were Nob Hill and the Campus. They both really fluctuated in terms of how good the dancers were, how interactive they were, etc., in various eras. But I had many fantastic experiences at both clubs with fully nude, hard dancers where they would interact with you in the audience, and there were opportunities to arrange for private encounters too. The Nob Hill also had porn star headliners, jack-off shows downstairs, and there were sex shows between performers as well. Very hot. The Campus closed many years ago, and Nob Hill just two years ago.

I also had great fun with fully nude dancers in both Washington DC and New Orleans. But alas, most of that is a thing of the past now.

I danced at LaCage in DC years ago, when it was still on O Street. At that time it was wonderfully seedy and you could get away with being touched and whatnot off in the corner, not so much on the bar. I went to the new location once and it was about as sexy as a pancake house, with too many straight women and couples, bright lights, and admonishments about trying to touch the dancers.

Nothing, however, compared to New Orleans for me. Corner Pocket, upstairs at Lafitte's, TT's over on Rampart. Those were the days.
