Maluma

Serious question.

Maluma was a hot topic not long time ago, now he's anywhere to be seen. He is absolutely irrelevant now.

His flop era makes me wonder how damaging social media is and how disposable celebrities are nowadays. Not even this one Bad Dunny or whatever escaped being irrelevant. Or maybe people just move on from urban regetoneros?

What is it with gays and their need to be like this? Jealousy? Talk incorrect shady shit to feel special while being the actual irrelevant ones? "Anywhere to be seen" (correct word is "nowhere", btw), "absolutely irrelevant now"?

Yes, his music sucks, but people still buy into it. He was on Fallon, Good Morning America (not just the Telemundo/Univision shows), has brand deals with actual huge brands, not some friend who sews underwear at home, he's on tour, his shows look packed, some might even say they look/are sold out (which is how artists make money, so his lifestyle seems taken care of), not many people can fill up Madison Square Garden like he just did, people are doing his songs as stupid Tik Tok dances, he seems very relevant still.

Shawn Mendes wishes.

Also "Bad Dunny"? Funny.

And you will deal.

I agree.

I cannot help but wonder, if Maluma is a flop now, how is he gonna afford his extravagant and tacky lifestyle?
He’s co-written his music. He’s set for life with publishing royalties. If he needs a quick influx of money, he can just tour and make a few million. Or better yet sell his catalog, or get advanced on publishing royalties, license his works, etc. That’s the music industry. He doesn’t need to be working year round.
