Man Crush

Hey guys. I am a bi guy who has a man crush on a married guy that I work with. He seems pretty comfortable with me; we always exchange small talk when we see each other or we'll do a wave to each other if we see each other from a distance. He reminds me of a fraternity brother from college. We do not work directly together. I don't think he knows anything about my sexual preferences.

Just curious from the straight guys, how would you react if you found out another guy at work had a man crush on you?

I would be flattered. If you made advances on me though, things would get awkward.

The term man-crush implies that you're not sexually attracted to someone, but that you do look up to them / respect them / enjoy their company.

A man crush would be fine provided I liked the person. A sexual crush I don't think would bother me so long as they were accepting that the feelings weren't reciprocated.

Thanks guys for the feedback! I wouldn't make a sexual advance towards him. Also, thanks for explaining what a man crush is. I do generally like his company. He's a nice guy. If it were to go to another level, he'd have to make the first move. I wouldn't want it to be awkward between us.
