Hey guys...just moved to San Francisco, and I manscape. Well...I started working out here at the 24 Hour Fitness downtown, and just doing a quick glance...looks like I'm the only one that does.

Thoughts if you see a dude who keeps it trimmed and clean down south? Never a problem in Denver.

Thanks

I have been shaved for a hernia operation in 2005.

I now trim down below. I do shave the shaft to keep everything looking good.

I shaved more when I employed condoms for birth control, but that requirement is no longer needed.

I shave my cock and balls daily. Love the smoothness as they roll around in my pants (go commando). Also trim my pubes and pit hair. Just feel so much better when it is trimmed.

I guess that depends on how much manscaping is involved. I do some. Shave my balls and shaft, keep pubes trimmed a bit, and in the summer if I'm going to the lake or similar, I'll shorten my body hair just a bit.

How much are you scaping?

I trim, never shave. the itching as it grows back is annoying. Especially when trying to teach a class and needing to scratch. I trim because I use a rubber cock ring and hair get tangled which makes it a pain in the crotch to take off. Plus too much hair traps odor.

Believe it or not, the best way to shave the balls and shaft is dry, with a brand new razor, and a liberal dusting of an expensive talcum powder. I learned this from an experienced NYC manscaper. The problem with shaving wet is that warm water causes the scrotal skin to swell a little, and engulf more of the hair shaft, so you never really get that perfectly smooth shave. You are also more likely to get irritation or nicks. Talcum powder simply eliminates the friction, plus it highlights the hairs so you can better see what you are doing. Just spread a towel beneath your work surface, because this method can create a small mess.

I shave the balls and the shaft, and trim the bush. I can't figure out why some guys shave the whole thing. Why would you want to look like a baby? Plus: removing all hair removes visual dimension, and can actually diminish the perceived size of the cock. Dark recedes and light advances, so if there is nothing but light skin at the base of the dick, the dick has no visual foundation.

trim for sure. but i cant stand shaving it down-south there since its going to get itchy all over, and i think it would be somewhat awkward to be the one that has no pubichair in the sauna room..

IMHO, shaved crotches on adult men look very strange...Like they had cock chemotherapy or something.

Trim? Sure. But the hair is there for a reason, and shaving it all off isn't healthy.
