I think reverse landing strip is neat, shaved down the middle....leave the rest.

Just did my first sugaring session last week. It’s supposedly the gentler version of waxing. I’ve never been waxed so have no point of comparison. It is uncomfortable and painful at times.
We did my back and butt, along with crack and taint area. He tried around the base of my shaft but after a few tugs I said no more. It fucking hurt!!!!
Next time (~5 weeks) I’ll let him try to do my scrotum. He did some of it when I was face down and it was tolerable.
